You have to be 18

rucko.gg is for adults. You confirm you are 18 or older when you sign up, and an account that plainly is not gets closed. By using the site you agree to everything on this page; if you do not, the right move is not to use it.

Your account is yours to look after

One person, one password, and nobody else in it. There is no email on an account, so nobody can prove an account is yours if you lose the password: a developer can mint a one-time reset link, and that is the whole recovery story. Anything done while signed in as you counts as done by you.

What you may not do

• Upload or publish anything illegal, anything sexual involving children, or anything made to harass a real person.
• Publish someone else’s work as your own, or upload files you have no right to.
• Pretend to be somebody else, or take a name in order to be mistaken for them.
• Attack the site: breaking out of the script sandbox, minting slopshekels that were never bought, reading other people’s accounts, or hammering the servers. Finding a hole and saying so is welcome; using it is not.

What you make stays yours

Your games, your scenes, your scripts and your uploads are yours. By publishing them here you let rucko.gg store them, show them and run them for the people who play them, for as long as they are published. Unpublish or delete whenever you like and that permission ends with it, allowing for copies that are still on their way through a cache.

The genie is an AI, and what comes out of it is not guaranteed to be original, correct or safe to reuse elsewhere. What you publish is still your responsibility, whoever typed it.

Slopshekels

• Slopshekels are a virtual item inside this site. They have no cash value, are not money, and cannot be cashed out, transferred to another player, or exchanged for anything outside rucko.gg.
• Buying them is final: a pack is not refundable once the slopshekels are on your account, and neither is anything you spend them on. There are no subscriptions and no stored cards.
• Checkout is Stripe’s. The price of a pack, and the price of anything sold inside a game, is worked out by our server from the published list, never from what your browser claims.
• If the site closes, or your account is closed for breaking these rules, whatever slopshekels are on it go with it.

Creators keep 70%

When somebody buys something inside a game you made, 70% of the price goes to your account in slopshekels, in the same transaction as the purchase. The rest keeps the lights on. There is no payout in real money, because slopshekels are not money.

Taking things down

Developers can unpublish a game, block an uploaded file, or close an account that breaks these rules, without warning where the thing is bad enough. If you think a takedown was wrong, say so and it gets looked at by a person.

The site is what it is

rucko.gg is a small project, offered as it stands. Things break, games get lost, saves go wrong, and it may change or stop at any time. Nobody here promises it will be up, or that your work will survive: keep a copy of anything you would miss. Nothing on this page takes away a right you have that cannot legally be taken away.

Leaving

You can delete your account whenever you want, in Settings, Delete account. It happens immediately and nothing about it can be undone. The privacy page lists exactly what goes and what stays.

Getting in touch

rucko.gg is a small site run by the people whose accounts carry the blue tick: jimmy, builderman and rucko. There is no company, no support desk and no email address: message one of those accounts, or a developer you already know, and say what is wrong.

The report button on someone's page reaches the site's admins, who read every report. Whatever an admin does to an account, a game or someone's money is written in a log that cannot be changed afterwards, with who did it and why.
